This is one of the best poetry works of Robert Frost which provided me a blend of both positive and negative inspirations.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
and sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim
because it was grassy and wanted wear;
though as for that, the passing there
had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no feet had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference
Me talking about poetry might sound odd :P. But predominantly this one of my favorites of Robert Frost. The moment when I completed reading this poem the main thing that strikes my mind was the Road that he has taken. But as far as our practical life is concerned whatever it may be whether it our life style, dresses, whatnot we adapt almost everything from others. Right from the way we dress, act we draw inspirations from others. So what would happen if we live in a life style in which none would have ever lived in this world? ? Will we be looked something odd maybe alienated from others or maybe cherished by others.
