In the age of global warming, it's very much surprising to infer that India is facing one of it's coldest winters ever this time and the temperatures have fallen below sub zero degree. Darjeeling, for the fist time in the two decades experienced a snow fall and in the Himalayan mountain cities such as Shimla, Kulu and Manali, the temperature have gone below 0 degree centigrade and the climate seems to get much colder in the next few days. So far, the cold wave has claimed more than 44 lives in the Northern part of India.
