Finaly there is a ray of hope for the comencement of the train services between Mayiladuthurai and villupuram

Finally there is a ray of hope that the passenger train service would soon be starting in between Mayiladuthurai and Villupuram as there has been a speed trial run that has been conducted by the ministry of railways on 17.03.2010 between the 123km long route and the ministry has announced that the passenger railway service would soon be operational from this month end. Hope the good news be implemented soon.
