New year gift for Tamil Nadu

Tamil New year's day falls on April 14 and the gift for Tamil people is the Reopening of long awaited Broad guage line between Mayiladuthurai and Villupuram that was closed for guage conversion nearly 3 years ago and due to many factors the work was delayed which continuously kept the Fingers crossed regarding the opening of the Line. The railway authorities have finally announced that this line would be thrown to passengers' traffic on April 15-2010 and lets hope that the railway authorities keeps up their promise.
