Tamil Nadu need the likes of A.K.Murthy
After a dismal Union Railway budget 2010 where all the south Indian states are ignored especially TamilNadu and Kerala, it's the time we realize that we are missing the former Union Minister of Railways Mr.A.K.Moorthy who was key in implementing various development schemes in TamilNadu. It was under his tenureship, the southern railways resorted to major advantages and without him, many projects would have been still in its initial stages. The railway line between Mayiladuthurai and Villupuram which was closed for the guage conversion is yet to be opened and the railway authorities are sleeping on this issue. Had A.K.Moorthy been in power, entire southern railways would now be running on Broad guage tracks.
